
ABOUT SUSAN
Rev. Susan Eaton is a pastor, author, mentor, and retreat leader who is passionate about helping people live whole and holy lives in Christ. Her work centers on helping people connect with God in ways that are practical, embodied, and rooted in Scripture.
Susan is the author of Reclaiming Joy and You’re Gonna Be Okay, and she writes a regular column for South Mississippi’s Signature Magazine. Her latest book, Even In Exile: Rediscovering Hope and Joy When Your World Turns Upside Down, is expected to be released in 2026. She is the host of The Embodied Holiness Podcast and also leads spiritual formation retreats that create space for rest, reflection, and encounter with the transforming love of Christ.
Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Formation and Soul Care at Friends University. She serves as Discipleship Pastor at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
When she’s not writing, teaching, or podcasting, Susan loves walking the family dog (Mabel), practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, reading, and watching movies or Netflix series with her family. She and her husband, Stewart, live with their two children in Hattiesburg.
