ABOUT SUSAN
​
Rev. Susan Eaton is a pastor, author, and retreat leader who is passionate about helping people live whole and holy lives in Christ. Her work centers on spiritual formation that is honest, embodied, and rooted in the everyday realities of life.
​
Susan is the author of Reclaiming Joy and You’re Gonna Be Okay, and she writes a regular column for South Mississippi’s Signature Magazine. Her latest book, Even Here, Even Now: Rediscovering Hope and Joy in the Midst of Exile, is expected to be released in 2026. She is the host of The Embodied Holiness Podcast and also leads spiritual formation retreats that create space for rest, reflection, and encounter with the transforming love of Christ.

Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. She currently serves as Discipleship Pastor at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

When she’s not writing, teaching, or podcasting, Susan loves walking the family dog (Mabel), practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, reading, and watching movies or Netflix series with her family. She and her husband, Stewart, live with their two children in Hattiesburg.
